Earlier this summer we hosted a ladybug picnic at a local park. We of course read tons of fun stories. Our ladybug craft was a super simple one!
Supplies needed:
small paper dessert plate
red circle same size as plate
black crayon or marker
brads
scissors
googly eyes
Have the child cut the red circle in half. Help them push the brad through both pieces of the red circle and the paper plate just past the ridge on the top of the plate. Let the child color in the face of the bug, and put spots on the circle. Lastly glue the eyes on.

Crafts in July
We have been so busy that blogging has gone by the wayside. So instead of writing much I'll just show pictures. At the end I'll post all the link to the great blogs I have found many of these ideas. Enjoy!
